About Us
There really is a place in South Carolina, near the mountain streams and lakes called Sugartit! My family has called this place home for generations! It’s a place where making the best you can out of what ya have is a way of life. In Sugartit; telling a great story and fishing are virtues and family is everything!
Grandpa Smith could catch more fish on an old Zebco and a whittled out lure than most guys today can with sponsors and fish finders! He could backhand snap an old hand tied lure into a well bucket at 200 feet and smile. He would whisper to us as he picked the best place to fish and say he was “Thinking like the fish”. He didn't know that his love of fishing would someday make Sugartit Custom Lures legendary!
